Who We Are
A rag tag team of media people trying to do something meaningful. It’s just that simple. Writers, photographers, producers, designers and stylists who have a yearning for something better.
We all contribute ideas and honor the gifts of each member of the team. Most of us are freelancers who bump into each other throughout the year on various jobs. Sounds like utopia doesn’t it? Well, a vast majority of the time it is, and sometimes it isn’t. We’re human, so we offend each other occasionally, but we respect each other and have stayed true to the vision. We’re grateful to work on this movement, we’re learning how to be a team and we’re discovering skills we never knew we had. In sharing, we are learning how to be better Frugalitarians™.Like every good movement, The Frugalitarian™ starts with a mission -- to teach people that by changing the way they spend their time and money, they can live a way of life with multiple payoffs:
- Be released from the pressure of living paycheck to paycheck by finding new ways of acquiring things.
- Gain confidence and have fun while learning to develop creative solutions and new uses for old things that give a sense of style.
- Reduce carbon footprints and take pride in positive contributions to our world by reducing waste and learning about eco-friendly solutions.
- Is it true?
- Is it fair?
- Does it promote goodwill and friendship?
- Is it beneficial to all concerned?
